Where to Purchase Compost Bins
Anoka County
Anoka County is currently selling The Home Composter for a reduced price of $35 plus tax. These bins are available to Anoka County residents only. Limit of one bin per household.

How to get your bin:
Go to one of the participating garden centers within the county. Bins will be available for purchsase on a first come, first serve basis while supplies last.

Carver County
Rain Barrels and Compost bins will be sold on a first come first served basis beginning April 17th, 2010. Quantities are limited.

Rain Barrel Specs/Info:

Dakota County
Compost bins are available for sale at the Dakota County Recycle Zone. These bins are available to all customers.

Ramsey County
Ramsey County has partnered with the Recycling Association of Minnesota to sell backyard compost bins for a reduced price of $55. Stainless steel kitchen collection pails are also available for $25. You must pre-order to participate.
Submit your order online now through April 22, 2010. Then, pick up your compost bin at the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand North Parking Lot during the Living Green Expo.

Washington County
Washington County has partnered with the Recycling Association of Minnesota to sell backyard compost bins. Washington County residents qualify to receive a $15 discount on one compost bin, while supplies and funds last. In order to receive the discount, residents must pre-order on RAM's website, www.recycleminnesota.org. Residents must enter the discount code "Washington" and select the Woodbury pick-up location only.
Pre-ordered compost bins and rain barrels will be available for pick up at the Washington County Environmental Center in Woodbury, on specified dates in May and June. For more information and to order visit www.recycleminnesota.org.
