RETHINK RECYCLINGRETHINK RECYCLING

Residents and businesses in the Rethink Recycling Twin Cities area recycle over 1.2 million tons of waste each year. That's about 38% of the garbage we generate. Impressive numbers? Yes, but we could do better. Approximately 1/3 of what we still throw away could be recycled. In addition, our population is growing and so is the amount of garbage we generate. The truth is, recycling gets more important each year. It's time to rethink recycling in the Twin Cities metro area.
