Farmington Youth Development/Community Education received funding directly from Dakota County to complete a waste reduction project. Through this project, an opportunity was created for secondary students to partner with younger students and older citizens on environmental issues. Youth and older citizens increased their own awareness of proper hazardous waste reduction methods and worked together to do skills building activities such as a pilot intergenerational "Clean and Green" Camp.
