The project goal is to change community, parent, student and teacher behaviors with respect to waste reduction and recycling through supporting student leadership. The overall results of this initiative are to foster environmental awareness, increase knowledge regarding waste reduction, change community, home and school behaviors, and develop student's sense of personal efficacy through opportunities for meaningful leadership.
