Loose fill packaging, or "packing peanuts," are ideal candidates for reuse. Consider ways to reuse the material internally for packaging or shipping needs. Alternatively, contact other businesses that will be glad to make use of it:- Consider neighboring businesses that could take your packaging material.
- Contact the Minnesota Materials Exchange for names of companies looking for packaging materials.
- Search your local phone directory for "Packaging Materials" or "Packaging Service" for businesses that accept used packing peanuts.
- Find a local collection center in your area by searching the Plastic Loose Fill Council web site or call the Council's Peanut Hotline at (800) 828-2214.
