"I Do" Redo Sale

"I Do" Redo Sale
Posted April 9th, 2010 by Rethink Recycling

Clothing swaps are becoming increasingly popular--as they should be; what a great idea! Reuse it! Now, the folks behind the "I Do Redo Sale" are taking it to bridal clothing. Genius!

If you are married and would like to sell your dress, accessories, centerpieces, or other decorations and wedding attire, you should check it out!  It would be a great way to get a little money for your stuff and allow someone else to get good use from it.  How very green of you!

And if you're a bride-to-be, gather up your bridesmaids, mother, and future mother-in-law and go peruse the deals.  You could find a great wedding dress, bridesmaids dresses, accessories or just good ideas for your upcoming wedding.

So go 'turn your something blue into something green!' You'll be helping your wallet and the environment!  There will be an I Do Redo Sale at the Maple Grove Community Center on April 17th.  You can find more information about selling, buying, or setting up a vendor booth (photographers and other wedding vendors are welcome there too!) at idoredosale.com.

I'm a registered consigner!

I just signed up to consign my wedding dress and a couple old bridesmaids dresses at the "I do" Redo Sale. I've been trying to sell my dresses on Craig's List but haven't had any luck and have had to deal with a lot of scammers. I could really use the extra money and I hope I can help a bride find a beautiful, affordable dress that has been worn only once.
