Eight Ways to Reuse Your Jeans

Posted October 20th, 2009 by Rethink Recycling
Last week we shared locations to drop-off and to buy reused clothing, household goods and other products around the Twin Cities.  Soon after, we came across this article at earth911.com that has some great ideas on things you can do at home with those old jeans that may not be suitable for donations.  Check it out: http://earth911.com/blog/2009/10/12/8-ways-to-reuse-your-jeans/

Unfortunately, I don't think I've ever worn a pair of jeans to the point that they're not usable. Usually they eventually don't fit anymore and I pass them on. I used to take them to donation stores like Goodwill or Savers. Now that I'm married, I hand them down to my younger sisters-in-law who are in college. They love getting nice clothes for free, and I love helping them out financially in a small way.
